Four novels are bound in one volume: "H-- Family: Tralinnan; Axel and Anna; and Other Tales" by Fredrika Bremer (translated by Mary Howitt) (Harper, 1844, 136 pages); "Arabella Stuart. A Romance from English History" by G.P.R. James (Harper, 1844, 142 pages); and "The Regent's Daughter" by Alexandre Dumas (translated by Charles H. Town) (Harper, 124 pages). Pages faded and some dark dampstaining to top edge and foredge of some pages. Light foxing to foredge and stray foxing spots to a few pages. Off-setting to endpapers. Unique item. These all appear to be first editions of the novels published by Harper in 1844 and 1845. Good.
